Recently made my own custom canvas soft top for my chop top xj. All the sewing was done by my mother bc she is a boss at sewing but anyways she did an awesome job.

Made from duck canvas and industrial Velcro all available at Jo Ann fabrics or probably any fabric store..

There are loops sewn all around the inside and window to attach to the roll bar I have installed. Super reinforced seams, very strong.

We waterproofed it with "neverwet" a water-phobic solution used to repel water.

We put a flap on the top to keep water out and put holes in the bottom where the window sits to let water drain.

I have a template of this and will like to know if people are interested in buying one of these. They don't last forever but it's a piece of cake to make. My mother sews for a living already with her primitive dolls and other stuff.
