But on topic, or as on topic as my Wrangler gets, my oil pressure spiked at 80+ psi on the way to work today. It scares me a bit, but I took the gamble that it was a bad sending unit and not a blockage. It appears I was right, so I'll be looking at the sending unit this weekend.

Finished my bumper install. Needed to drill one of the mount holes out a little to make the last bolt fit. Double checked it was all tight. Also put my LEDs back on, I didn't have time when I first installed the bumper. And screw my license plate on so I don't get a ticket.

I replaced my oil pressure sending unit...again. The Mopar one I installed in January crapped out in a week. It was under warranty so the replacement cost me $0.

Are those the 4mudders lights? If so I had them in for about a week. Very bright. No cutoff. No beam pattern at all. Just bright everywhere. Never had anyone flash me from the front but everyone I pulled up to at a light adjusted their rear view mirrors away from me.

If it was a trail rig, I'd no doubt run them. But just me personally, I chose not to be "that guy" lol.

Best thing you can do on that model is to get the radiator and overflow from a 92 or newer and go to a normal closed system. Went through the same problem with a friends old XJ and between bottles and caps, it seemed like it never stayed reliable. His was a champ after we changed it over and never had the overheating issues either.

Actually, it's an OPEN system you convert to.

I just installed one, could not have been easier. I see the chatter about RC on here but decided to dive in on these, glad I did.

Default grill gaurd for super cheap

Grill guard from a 90 ford ranger, these were factory along with a roll bar,i pulled it at the local pick your part and sized it up on a jeep there before i bought it almost fit like it was meant to be lol...It was originally chrome ,also had some rust on the underside of center bars, cleaned that off, primed with self etching primer,a primer sealer then flat rustoleum enamel black.cost me 40$ regular price,11$ for new hardware old stuff was rusted ,and paint about 15$,only issues was bolt access but on the radiator support there are two round holes you can reach in and put the bolts on by hand,a ratchet wrench would do best, but i used a mix of regular open end and 1/4 ratchet worked for passenger side. The bolt design has the bolts that have just a smooth round head and square peg underside that locks and keeps it from spinning so that helped a bit,but ive seen these a few times just never though it would fit but figured id post maybe someone can find one at thier local yard, next ittl get some lights.
