Lets see... roughly $20 in change / small bills, $15 Taco Bell gift card (never used), white gold / emerald ring (real/ jeweler says about $500, wifey was pleased), rusted can of soup. enough other trash to fill a kitchen sized trash can, hole in drivers floor pan, various other small repairs were required. However she cleaned up real nice and is running / driving like a champ.

Instead of drilling and tapping the holes, it seemed like a good idea to them to just weld in the new shocks. I can hardly wait to change them now!
No treats for me, i ordered my xj from the factory back in late '99.
HOWEVER
When installing the lift, i needed longer shocks so i ordered a set of SkyJackers.

Went to install them and holy s**t to my horror the jack*** at CAR-X who changed my stock shocks way back when WELDED one of the rear shock pins to the frame.
Also a

Air chiseled and ground it off.
Then ordered a set of BPEs for the rears. No more broken rear shock bolts.

instead of running the ignition on the steering column they ran new wires from the fuse box to a horn button switch on the dash.

All the door and other compartments were filled with tools. I didn't know originally that the doors had compartments - I thought something was loose and rattling inside the doors. Turned out to be loose tools. <g> Under the rear seats too - tools. <g>

And there were several Joker cards here and there and one Ace of Spades.

"good"? Well; certainly not Great; I can say that. <g> Some were useable but many were dollar-store grade screwdrivers, cheap wrenches, and so forth. The Stanley and Craftsman stuff I kept. Oddly; there was a nice new T&B crimping plier laying under the seat. I have it in my tool pouch right now. <g>

nice, I use my T&B crimping pliers almost everyday at work. The one with orange and black handles? My co-worker used to say "pass me the Halloween pliers". LOL.

That's funny. I've never heard them called that. But yes; those are the ones. <g>

I found a lot of green in mine. Mostly under the drivers seat. And not the type of green that you can spend at a store...
