Default New(ish) Cherokee owner

So I bought a 2000 Cherokee for $2000 and it came with its fair share of problems but they're all fixable. The thing I'm worried about is the previous owner too the sway bar and links and I'm not sure if I should really worry about getting another. I'd like to get a 3" rough country lift kit soon if that helps you guys tell me what's up. Should I worry about getting another if I'm planning on lifting it?

Don't get rough country. Get zone, iron rock offroad, rustys, or Metalcloak. I woukd get another sway bar and quick disconnects.

Any reasons for those ones over rough country? Just trying to learn.

They are all better quality then rough country. There's a reason rc is so cheap.

Cylinder heads on 2000-2001 XJs are prone to cracking. Do a search on the OEM Cherokee Technical board, lots of info there about the problem. Worth checking so you can nip it in the bud if necessary.

I've done a good bit of research and I think I'm going to redo that in early summer once I've saved up cash. The sway bar is something I could solve now though.
