Lime green accents?
Hey guys, have a 2000 white xj, 4.5in rcx lift, blacked outhe wheels with 33in tires. I love her but honestly white has to be my least favorite car color. I got such an awesome deal on her and although the white has grown on me a ton, especially because besides a couple tiny spots of surface rust I already took care if, shes completely rust free, I keep thinking about adding some different color accents somewhere. Don't want to **** anything up and definitely don't want it to look tacky so trying to get some opinions. What color would look cool with the white? I'll post a couple of pics of her btw. I keep seeing it with lime green in my head, the emblems, maybe a lime green cherokee decal on front fender, track bar, diff covers underneathe. What paint would I use or does it even matter? Same sand, primer, spray technique as the body? Any ideas, tips, suggestions much appreciated. Anything else I could throw some color on that would look nic? Lmk. Thanks!!

I prefer metallic, gloss and flat black to accent white. Green or orange is generally found on high schooler bro-trucks, avoid at all costs.

Ugh, I keep going back and forth in my head between I love it and hate it. Looks cool for a sec and then just looks gaudy. I might try to find some lime green tape and see if I like it with no commitment.
As for the black, I've already been trying but idk what else to black out. The rims and facing the raised white lettering on the tires def helped. Might just touch up black underneath so it's fresh too. Want to look into the rear quarter panel armor as well, I've seen white Cherokees with it that looked great and it will help stop the rust that usually attacks there. Think I should do the emblems or smoke out the rear lights?

I still want it to look nice! It's not a trailer rig or anything, she gets to go out on the weekends but it's my daily 70mi a day too. Think I just want to get hands on on something. Loved doing the body work I did, but I'm not too mechanically inclined and painting I can do. Thanks for the input guys

Smoking the lenses reduces visibility to others. (interpret as; rear end collision at night due to lack of illumination, police give ticket and insurance company will not pay, both due to 'improper equipment').

I agree if you totally black them out or go too dark, I meant just a light tint is all. My bfs got a dark one on his lifted jimmy and can't even tell you the number of times I barely saw his lights come on when he brakes while following him. Looks cool but def not practical.

The vibe I'm getting from this thread isn't great. Sounds like you're set on doing some cosmetic stuff. Go for it if you want. Paint everything your heart desires. Not everybody is going to agree with your idea of what looks good and we all might say I told you so when you're sick of it.

I'm not set on it, that's why I'm asking for a second opinion, I was 50/50 and just wanted to hear from maybe someone that's done it or seen in and hated/loved it. The only cosmetic work I was set on doing, I did the weekend I got the jeep, and that was getting most of the surface rust off. Don't think I did too bad, even got props from one of my buddies which owns a custom paint shop. The body has dents and scratches from the trails but that's all good. I have an old kc light bar I still need to throw on and currently looking for a nice roof rack and back bumper as well.

I don't think I'd like that I really don't want it to look cheap or tacky. Thinking I'm just gonna stick to putting the rear quarter panel armor on it, get some black fender flares and that will break the white up
