Default Liberty Renegade Flares?

I've read about people retrofitting TJ flares to work with their Cherokees so I got a pretty cool idea... I was sitting at a red light this morning and a KJ Renegade pulled up next to me, I glanced at it and noticed that the fender flares on it looked like they would be able to fit an XJ without any MAJOR modifications. I've been hunting for a cheap set of flares because I want my 31s to stop flinging mud and rocks at my driver's door. Especially because I'm getting it painted in the spring.

Would the KJ Renegade's Fender Flares fit my XJ? If so, what modifications would need to be done in order to get them on?

Also, Do you think they will provide enough coverage for my tires?

I don't think they'll work without some major modification. If you can get a set cheap, I say try it and see. If it doesn't work, you could sell them to KJ guys - they're always looking for 'em.

I don't know if anyone has tried to mount them on, but the issue would be cost..
I have been looking for a set for my KJ but they are hard to come by especially since a renegade in JY around here is impossible to find, and if anyone does have a set they want big money for them...
