I would say that you entered in the contract, verbal and you'll know better next time. You can ask for a refund for sub standard work but don't expect much.

Its was a local performance shop. Sucks seems like you cant trust any one to do a good job. Wish i could just pay for good work. Looks like ill just have to learn to do it my self.

You can trust certain people to do a good job...but you need to shop around, talk to them, find out EXACTLY what it is they'll be doing for your hard earned money.
That said, I still would rather do it myself. That way I KNOW what was done. Owning a Cherokee has really expanded my knowledge base. Got me from doing simple oil changes, to making my own bumpers and such. Loved fabricating on my jeep so much, that I switched careers and am now a full time welder/fabricator. Get yourself a factory service manual, and go from there. These rigs aren't particularly hard to work on, and once you start doing it yourself, you'll have great pride in knowing that not only did you do the work, but that it was done properly, and for much less than any shop will charge.

You're looking at typical shop labor right there.
They want to bone you for $100/hr, but only want to do the bare minimum to get you in and out. They don't take their time to do a nice job.

Give them a Google or Yelp or whatever review and make sure to show or link these pics/this thread.
A good shop would have refused to do it any other way but the correct way and would have given you the appropriate estimate. You paid for a band-aid and were given a nearly worthless band-aid. You haven't named the guys who did this (or I missed it). Name them. Shame them. They deserve it.

bahh, i wouldn't worry too much about it. the holes are fixed. sure it cost a bit, but floor and body work is pretty expensive.
next time, take that 500 bux and buy yourself a small wire feed welder and you can do those jobs over and over with the same machine.

I did speak to owner of said shop and he has agreed that this is unexceptible and would like to personaly fix the problom by replacing the floor pan with a new one and do a step by step overview of the entire process and a plan of attack as to what will actually be done

sounds like a stand up owner to me then.
the patch job would probably be just fine, but a full floor pan replacement is the way to go.
lets see her when you get her back.
