Homemade front bumper. Spent $45
I started with several pieces of 1/4 steel plate I got for free from a local shop. My only expenses where paint, grinding disc, bolts, and welding wire.
Started by making templates from cardboard then made these mounts
Went through a lot of cardboard but finally got it like I wanted

that looks awesome!
what I really like about it is ya only spent $45, for that kind of cash I think I could only manage a cardboard one

Did you know someone at that shop, or did you just ask for scrap sheets? I wouldn't mind making my own like this. Really like the holes. And not much out there for ZJs. Is this bumper strong enough for a winch??

The bumper is definitely strong enough for a winch. %95 percent of it is 1/4 plate.
I am waiting for a good deal on a winch!

awesome bumper, I'd build some LED lights with universal board and trim to fit - http://www.sourcingmap.com/prototype...aign=usfroogle
