I found this drawing here on the forum and decided to build my sliders from it. I added a side rail to it with slanted connectors. The drawing is right on. Thanks to who ever posted it!

I've got them all planned out in my head. I think I'm gonna use 2x6 or 2x4 boxed steel, close off the ends, and attach them to an air pump inside the cab. I'm gonna tie them into the frame after I add frame stiffeners then have to figure out a way to tie them to the body but I have to wait till after my lift cross member is installed. Just gonna take a little bit to save up the money for all this!!! LOL

Man, It feels good seeing someone else use those plans. I searched for months and then finally found those. I posted then a couple months ago. Sweet rails.

Looks good. I am working on my rock sliders. I did like another post and cut the rockers and am using 3"x6"x 3/16" tube. Was going to use as air tank but when pressure tested to 250 psi the tube started to turn into an oval. 6" side did not go back to flat, but my welds held.

I thought 3/16" was going to be ok and i was also worried about weight. 1/4" might not oval out. Its not real bad but its not flat. The 3/16" 3"x6" 6 feet long were about 70 lbs. 1/4" would be around 93 lbs.
