Jeep van, circa 1958
Only three prototypes made, Jeep would have beat Chrysler to the minivan by 25 years if they had gone ahead and sold these:

True, but this would have beat the Greenbriar by 3 years, and it has styling and interior appointments much more in tune with automobiles of the day than either the Greenbriar or the VW. (The main advance Chrysler had was building a van that drove and felt pretty much like a car.) If it had been built with 4WD available this Jeep van would have been even further ahead of the curve.

This Jeep though does look really cool, even better than most of the early mini vans.

Looks like Jeep did produce something along these lines but for use as ambulances.
