HD Headlight Harness write up
Well I got around to getting this little project done. I was the test rat on this project...since the harness is for a Chevy pickup with seal beams.
I ordered the part from LMCtruck.com (part # 36-3580) and thought it would do the trick...at only $40 shipped to my door...I said...lets try!
Here is the link…and some pictures of my harness before install:

SUCCESS! It works flawless!
So anyone looking to upgrade to better lighting...this is a great harness!
So first thing is to get the front prep work done....taking the parts off to see and work easier and disconnecting the battery. You will need simple hand tools like screwdrivers and wrenches and maybe pliers.
I ran the harness behind the grill with the existing harness.
.
We will tuck that all away nice and clean but for now we are still getting things in place.
I ran the harness along the same place the existing one is running…here is a picture of the place by the battery box.
Once you get the sockets to there respective areas…you can pull them out into the bucket for the headlight and let them just hang. At this point I started to tuck the main run along the front of the grill into place and zipped tied it down with the factory harness.
Next I connected the harness to the existing harness headlight socket on the side with the battery box like so.
After that was done I connected the ground wires of the new sockets to the core support….nice thing about this harness is everything is tagged…no guess work here.
finger pointing to the bolts I used to ground.
Next was the relays….I chose to mount them to the fender by the batter box as shown in the picture.
Time to put the headlights back in and secure them….I have not received my IPF headlight at this time for the rest of my conversion to H4 bulbs with 80/100 watt bulbs so no pictures of that yet.
Lastly was the fusible links to the battery’s positive side and hook back up the battery.
Time to test! Light are brighter!...but really looking forward to my IPF’s and Hella 80/100’s.

HD Headlight Harness extras...pics
Hello Moderators and Admins...I would like to add a bit more to the HD Headlight Harness install writeup if I could.
additions are Pictures of light from HID and HD Harness setup:
This is my G35 Infiniti sedan with real HID headlights stock...and I think these are great lights!
This is my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport with the HD Headlight Harness with IPF headlights and H4 80/100 Hella H4 bulbs. All I can say is WOW! And they are adjusted properly too...for those who will ask.
