Bumper Build
I'm planning on building a front bumper for my new ZJ and I've looked up pictures and have an idea of what i want to do. My question is about mounting. I've seen were people take two big pieces of steal and run them off of the "frame" and have about 4-5 bolts in each piece.
Would that be enough strength to hold it on w/o ripping off if i do some tugging with it?
I planned on using the bumper as a tow point to pull people out of ditches this winter. Since we all know that the ZJ have no tow point on the front end.
It seems like my trail rigs bumper is welded all over the place and super sturdy. I guess I could just look off my old jeep for mounting.
Hows everyone have theirs done?
Plan on making a box bumper, maybe a winch on top, with two D rings
