Loud Whistling Noise on my 96 GC
I have a 96 GC 4.0L Auto with 128000 miles and i recently started hearing a extremely loud whistling every time the car warms up and i accelerate. The sound does not occur when i decelerate, only when i tap or hold down the gas. Anyone have any idea what this noise is or how to fix it? I just bought the damn thing and it runs perfect other than that.

It was on this forum, I have a thread on this title "whistling cherokee WHAT!"
Was the vacuum hose going to the brake booster from the intake.
YES it was extremely loud. Try wiggling it around when its making noise.
