Default lift kit for a 2001 jeep grand cherokee

I'm thinking of lifting my Cherokee (WJ i think) I'm sure a few of you have already done this, so

I'm asking for suggestion.

I'm a beach dweller on long island for the last ten years and have used my 93 blazer that walks the beach.

i want to start setting up my jeep so the family can meet me when they wake up.

i have a six in the jeep thinking of lifting it so i can get some height and width on the tiers to help get me across the beach.

thinking 3.5" - 4" but i still want to use it for the highway.

Default Lift

I am debating weather to get an XJ 1996-2001 Cherokee or a WJ 1999-2000 Grand Cherokee. Thare alot of DIY lifts for the XJ. Coils in front and leafs in rear. I am leaning twars an WJ for certin reasons. and want to lift it apx 2-3".

These both have lifts that you are looking for. Hope this helps!!

You can get some budget lifts or invest on some Rancho or Fabtech lift kits...
You spend most of your time on the beach.. Do you also go on some off-road trails wheeling?
