He listed WJ for $2,550. On the phone I talked him down to $2000. He reluctantly agreed. Not sure if he would go any lower. Perhaps when I show up with cash..

Yeah that's what I was thinking but the miles don't concern me as much as the oil pressure. Like u said, it's clean, and the 4.0 runs forever it seems...but the pressure is scary

Check transmission fluid and oil when you look at the 2000. Bad parts are it's got a 0331 and the very weak 42RE. Lots of older 4.0Ls run with 5 PSI at warm idle. As long as it builds pressure with RPM you can probably live it out. Personally I wouldn't run cheap oil in an engine with a known lubrication problem. Aside from those two it sounds like a better buy, but really I have no idea what to do about the 42RE's problems.

the antenna fell off my 1994 ZJ. The screw is still sticking out and the threads look good. Will any aftermarket antenna just screw on there? Is there a specific size I should be looking for?

They're talking about the magnum, the 4.0 has a ridiculous amount of oil so should be fine I'd think:

I've also heard of increased wear on the gear that drives it

My opinion is why would you need a high volume pump on an engine that seldom exceeds 3000 rpm in normal usage, even off-roading? If you're planning to run Baja, maybe. No amount of volume will make up for worn bearings. You need pressure to maintain the oil film on the bearings to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
If you will notice how deep the sump is on a 4.0, that's designed so the oil pump won't loose suction at extreme angles when off-road and keeps it away from the crankshaft. For extreme acceleration applications, a baffle is necessary to prevent the oil from climbing the back of the block and starving the pump, or a dry sump system.
I just don't see a 4.0 needing ANY modifications in that respect.

Whatever your little heart desires, except the transmission; ATF+4. 249 t/case, special Mopar lube.

So I'm rebuilding my front driveshaft(stock) on my 2000. Does anyone have any tips for getting the dust boot on? I'm having trouble getting it to fit back over the metal lip.
