Shackle relocation brackets are back in as of tonight. They really do make a big difference over speed bumps and such.
I also put black spray-painted hose clamps around the boots of the Bilstein shocks so they'll stop slipping off every time I drop my axle. Those zip ties just weren't enough.

WIX tranny filter and gasket came. I'm about to basically dump my old fluid and refill with fresh DexIII/Merc. I'm leaking out of the oil pan, so I can't wait to fix this once and for all.

Welp, it looks like it's time for a harmonic balancer replacement. I think I've got some wobble. Nothing significant yet, so it's good to replace now before things get catastrophic.

Here's another small project that I'm working on:
I found some KJ center caps that I'm going to modify my wheels to install. I plasti-dipped them a dark gray and then added the gloss overlay layer:

Now I borrowed a friend's template and did some drilling and counter-syncing. Now those KJ center caps will bolt right up.
The back of the KJ center caps have a 3-screw/2-peg pattern. You have to drill 5 holes in between the 5x4.5 lug holes for them to fit:
So that's what I did:
Then, after that was finished, I turned the wheel around and made some counter-syncs so that the new screws I bought would sit flush with the wheel instead of sticking out:
After adding some paint to the raw steel, the new screws are now flat with the wheel:
And here is the finished effect:

I had to pop the center cap off of my canyons just to get them to fit on there with those stupid bearing caps. Can't wait to get rid of those DUMB things.

Today replaced the harmonic balancer. It was just time. It was starting to appear cocked upwards, and I got to it before it started eating into the timing chain cover.

Today I got around to replacing the oil filter O-rings, and I'm running a new filter type too: a WIX 51515 over-sized filter with more filter area than a stock filter to hopefully help with filtration, as well as hold more oil.

Sold the Hi-Lift jack and brackets.
I ordered a set of new tires and wheels. I have the wheels already, which are 15x10 versions of the wheels I already have. I've drilled them out for the center caps again already.
The tires should be here Tuesday. They're Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires. Excited!

Sweet man... I knew you'd get that jack sold pretty quick. Any luck on the tires yet or are you waiting on the others to get in first?
