Well my XJ is completely apart and torn down( Im about two weeks late in this post)! i have temporarily dubbed it chop saw! As you all can see my rod bearings are down to brass and my skirts have rubbing. Some of my water passages in my head were clogged and my transfer case chain fell off when i was resealing it! but the project will continue. I know my engine rebuild will be slow but hopefully my body and interior restoration should move smoothly. The block is going be bored .20 over and i plan on getting most of my engine parts from titan, sorry the second photo looks like it was taken during the civil war.

i got my driver side frame somewhat cleaned up so i can tell how bad the rust is. There is alot of chips in the frame tube, The frame still feels solid but its going to be welded in the splits and im going to get frame stiffeners. Thoughts on the level of frame rust?
