Starting this thread to showcase my DD/Mountain Runner/ Hunting Rig. I picked it up for $2000 with a 2" lift and 31" BFG's installed.
Here is what is currently on her:
First step was installing new shocks in preparation for a 3.5" lift. I opted for Skyjacker 7000's
Next came a bumper install for a custom bumper i snagged for $200

Primer and paint the Ares Fab Bumper and brackets
Cut and Fold the rear quarters
Install Bumper
Alternator Upgrade
Tear off trim moulding
Bed liner the bottom half of doors and fender flares
Undercoat the floor pan
Pull dash and replace heater core
Save money for Detroit Tru-Trac
Roof Rack From www.nates4x4.com finally came. Over a month after a i first ordered it. I understand he is a 1 man shop, but being told 8-10 business days shipping and having it arrive 1 month later is not cool in my book. On the other hand, it weighs about 65 lbs and looks well built. will be painting and installing tonight.
Got the Roof Rack and rear bumper painted. I used the rustoleum spray on bed liner stuff. I got anxious to install it and didnt let it dry completely, so i will need to touch up in a few places. I am not to impressed with the gutter mounts provided with the rack. I only received 4 of the 6 i ordered and they dont seem to clamp very uniformly and disfigured my rain gutter. Basically payed 70$ for 20 minutes of work cutting some C channel and welding a piece of all thread to some plating.
Next is Brown Dog engine mounts. my drivers side is completely toast haha. Followed by KJ rear disc brake conversion. Followed by the alternator upgrade.
I like the Pro's. they really shine in loose cobbly rock and gravel. We havent had any rain to speak of so i havent gotten them in mud at all. they do have a bit of a howl on pavement, but they are MT's and not a highway tread.
