Well, it was definitely a learning experience as there are things I should have done better/differently but overall I don't think it turned out too bad for a kid that barely could swap out an alternator a year ago.

Replaced the other J-bolt for the gas tank with a turnbuckle so now the gas tank is a lot more stable than before. I have a lot of stuff going on very soon here so the rest of the floor panels are gonna have to wait but I plan on starting on them again as soon as possible.

Got a start on the rear passenger side floor pans today. Wish I could've got started on it earlier but it's been really busy. Other than that I bought a spare and am just waiting on the wheel to come in so I can go get it mounted and balanced.

Finished welding up the rear passenger side floors for the most part. Couple places I have to patch near the rear of that section but other than that it's about 98% done. Now I need to figure out a way to take care of the area just in front of the rear wheel well on both sides.

So I was on my way to church last night and I started smelling something sweet. Pulled over and it turns out my water pump blew up on me. Didn't take any pictures of it in progress because I didn't really care to but now I have some of the shiny new one!

^^^Had that happen to me not too long ago. Luckily I noticed it when I was only a 2 minute drive from my house.
You're showing your XJ some good love. Keep it up!

Thanks guys! My rear passenger brake was squeaking so I want to check it out last night. Sprayed it down with a little penetrating oil and steppe on the brakes and it went away but my wheel cylinder took a dump on me so I spent last night fixing that as well as trying to find a stupid retaining pin that went flying. Spent almost 45 minutes lookin for it before I finally gave up. All the part stores were closed so as soon as in off work going to buy the spring kit and zip that back together and put in my extended brake line I've had laying around for like 6 months.

Spent pretty much the entire day today working on the floors again. Made some good progress too. Just need a couple more welds on the bottom side, sanding a little bit of the body filler I had to use, an bed lining. Then I can move to the rear wheel wells and the finally the driver side.
