so now I gotta figure something else out

oh yeah and there was a beast of a XJ with 33x10.5x15 Super swampers in there, it was too bad teh tires were crap or I would be on intercos right now

So I call Goodyear and get a quote of $950 out the door for 4 33x1250 Duratracks
with a $120 mail in rebate and 6mo same as cash, not sure what to do yet

I run the kendas. The mts are sweet the guy at the shop told me to send them back but I told him if he didnt want to mount them id go somewhere else. So he did and theyre great. Ive had zero problems. Theyre great offroad with traction, they look agressive as hell, and they have awesome road manners. I recommend them and dont let anyone tell you they are cheap. I know tons of people who love by kenda tires. I say go for it.

Installed shims today and got my Pinion angle set I thinks

DS angle was 18* and Pinion was 16* so I think that makes it about right. I read it should be anywhere from 0*-2*

anyway still have bad vibes at 60ish, I started looking and it appears the SYE Yoke is machined off center causing runout in the shaft

clearanced the yoke and the vibes diminished alot but its still sorta noisy

Almost thinking its pinion bearings. only has issues under throttle smooth as butter on decel and rolling in N

okay vibes still present its really making me mad

Gonna try and find a Spicer 2-4-5341 yoke from the JY to replace the POS Rugged Ridge yoke
also gonna get a set of hubcentric rings for my wheels, noticed when I ran it on jack stands the wheels are not running concentric to the hubs

Next thing I want to do is re locate my rear lower shock mounts for clearance and to reduce the bind it caused from setting my pinion angle

after I get the vibes figured out and other stuff gonna upgrade the tie rod and hopefully re gear to 4.56 first of the year or so

Its not been a fun ride ever since I started messing with the T case and rear drive line

Default UPDATE! VIBES FIXED ithink

went to pull a part today and snagged another yoke for my SYE
just so happens the front out put of a 242 T case is almost identical to the yoke most kits come with

SO GET SOME!

feels 100% better now I hope it stays that way
