Default My First 4x4 Jeep XJ Build

Just got this 1995 XJ. Runs good and looks great IMHO

Plan on a RC 4.5 X Series Lift in the next week or two and a set of 31x10.5s

Does the guy at Morris still offer a Discount, I am broke, lol

Put a radio ,a CB, 4 HF lights on her so far and new speakers
Made a EMT bar to mount the lights woot $5 Light bar
Need to go to the JY and get a cluster with tach and temp
dont mind the CB wires I have not tucked them away yet in that pic

i would run it like it is for now and save up and get a IRO lift if i could go back i would have went with there 5.5" or 4" lift with full leaf pack here check them out http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFX

I think what I may do is get the RC Kit I said above, then later down the road upgrade to the IRO Critical path Long arms. I would think after selling the RC short arms it would offset the price of the IRO arms and end up being cheaper in the long run.

Jeep looks really clean. keep the pictures commin'. I think 31 or 32's look really good with 4" +/- looks good and works great as a DD.

This your DD or weekend toy?

Going to be a DD mostly got a Ford Lighting to play now that my Mustang is gone But the mustang parts are paying for teh Xj build

Please tell me you'll take off those horrid tube steps before doing anything else!

I like how that CB is mounted. Nice. Many people mount it on the trans tunnel, passenger side, and I would never mount mine there. The wiring you got there however...not so much. lol

My missing bushings showed up UPS Next Day Air this morning

That cost them a pretty penny

Leafs installed, then did teh brake line and the shocks
back will be done tomorrow after I grab a few new bolts for the shackles

Then I started on the transfer case drop and its being a PITA too
studs dont want to come out of frame and the thing is in a huge bind forwards

Got the transfer case drop done, studs came out after soaking overnight

back done, Tho I think I am gonna order a SYE from the go driveline angles are bad
Back netted 6" of lift
