So the yeep is in the shop right now getting aligned and the upper bushings replaced for $180. Oh well at least that parts done for now. Waiting in a bar across the street. What's next? Still need a windshield, frame stiffeners rock rails, bumpers, install my kc's rear axle swap bah! Going on a trail run on the 21 so that's fun. More later. CHEERS!

finally have some time to post some update pics. the driverside motor mount broke
wow so thats what that clunk was jeeper john from naxja made me some sick replacements that are a huge improvement.
Now about the changing of the mounts. seems that the biggest problem changing them is the way the motor wants to slide back and twist. it was a PITA but with a bottle jack an engine hoist and a floor jack we were able to get it done the night before my next jeep trip.
My good friend just bought his first XJ a 89 and wanted to take it out so i picked a super mello and fun fire road to go up and was joined by CF member Kushdawg who was an absolute blast to have around.
i brought all of my tool figuring that james's jeep would have some problems lol
My jeep's rotor decided to implode less than 300 miles on it and it just fell apart lol luckily we were 4 miles into the trip so james ran back to town bought 2 and came back and we were on the road again!!
halfway up nice break for liquids
Kushdawg's camo wrap Is SICK! then we were off untill......
James thru a u joint but Kushdawg had a spare and we were off less than 15 minutes later. (i now have 2 spares ) so fineally we have the first flex pics with my lift and tires!!!!!!!!!
So needless to say i started to build my boonie box/survival kit.
i have so far bought u joints, u joint straps, rotor, belt, fluids, ive had a fire extinguisher, recovery straps chain and come along. bottle jack and floor jack. i have a huge list of items i will be buying as the weeks go by. and i need to find a way to store all my tools neatly. more to come soon
cb install, light install, fender trimming, etc etc etc bumpers..... lockers..... BAH! to much to do not enough cash!!!
cheers!!!!

EXCITING TIMES!!!
first of all a few weeks ago i ordered the detours backbone and tailbone system and i lucked out mark informed me that for now anyway they will no longer be offering the tailbone system due to the overwhelming demand. He was very up front with me and im expecting a pretty big lead time. i also ordered the back bone light bar and the A pillar light brackets.
im wondering if the snorkle i wnt will fit with the A pillar lights. if not, no snorkle!
Second of all yesterday i picked up a 8.25 from a fellow NAXJA forum used for $75.OO! smokin deal as far as im concerned! i bought some used seats so now im riding comfy and have a new set of "street" tires ill be mounting on a second set of rims for basic wheeling/ driving around.
i will be posting some more pics up soon!

finally som e new pics
time to remove the brush guard and install the Detours Backbone!
the driverside frame horn was bent in about 3/4 of an inch so lining up the holes wasnt possible.
what i did was use the backbone and some bolts and pull the frame hhorn back to where its supposed to be then installation was a snap.
the only other issue was my bumper skin was an after market one and measured longer than stock
the Detours backbone is seriously beef!!!! i highly recommend it to everyone.
the i bought a confer rack that already had an expanded metal floor and welded on sone light tabs for the front. so heres how that went firt thing you need is ........
to install.......
so you can mount some of these!
ground down and checking if i had enough bare metal
then weld
and grind
done! just paint it up and use a lot of coats.
rack on lights installed bumper skin back on!
