I want to put on a 3" lift kit ( possibly a zone offroad or rough country) and was wondering if anyone has opinions wether or not I will need new lower control arms??? and I was wondering if anyone had opinions on wether or not add a leaf is worth it or should I just get the whole spring kit?? Thanks!!

If rear springs are sagging already get new leaf packs.

Yeh the driver side is 1/2". But I am wondering if I need lower control arms for balancing purposes???

dont buy either. piece it together with a quality product. search rough country and you will see what I'm talking about.

to answer your question is I would buy lower arms and full leafs. you will be doing it anyways down the line and you will regret not doing it right now

I personally didn't have problems with my Rough Country lift, but I did regret not getting the complete rear pack instead of just add-a-leaf.
As for the control arms, I would say it depends on what you want to do with your XJ, but yeah, chances are you will do it anyway at some point.
