History of my Jeeping life:
Started with this 88 back in 2010 (first jeep ever):

Ended up looking like this when I was done with it: (yes same jeep)

Size: 308.8 KB

Sold it and bought this:

After some money and time it looked like this:

Sold it and bought a dumb *** toyota (flame away):

Sold it and ended up with this thing:

After lots of work, and a good bit of $ it turned into this:

For some reason got bored and ended up with this (which is where I am now) (check that smiling front tie rod):

Always enjoyed wranglers..but never could afford one..thus why I went with XJs from the get go..
This one is clean, seems unmolested, and had a few goodies already (like the uber cool bent tie rod).

First things first.. new ZJ tie rod with upgraded grade 8 hardware:

When I had to install my grease zerk on the tie rod I had to drill the hole out an mess with it so much to get it to fit.

I'm happy you went back to the Jeep family. XJ, ZJ, TJ, doesn't matter as long as it had solid axles. Really ready to see how this thing comes along. good luck bro

It will be a slow start cause I'm paying for a wedding.
may just start with something like a 4.5 inch short arm and 35s with nice upper and lower arms with johnny joints.
Then once tax season comes step up to long arms and coilovers up front.
Definitely want to lock front and rear but gotta figure out what to do with this Dana 35

Does the front right tire look bowed in because of the tie rod?

Looked up the axle number by the door.
Turns out its 3.73 lsd..but its still worth it to me.
Good discs, no carrier break for the 8.8, nice LSD to start with, 100 bucks..
