Always enjoyed wranglers..but never could afford one..thus why I went with XJs from the get go..
This one is clean, seems unmolested, and had a few goodies already (like the uber cool bent tie rod). First things first.. new ZJ tie rod with upgraded grade 8 hardware: Attachment 340655 |
When I had to install my grease zerk on the tie rod I had to drill the hole out an mess with it so much to get it to fit.
|
My zerk fitting went in smooth

are u selling your xj?
|
I traded the Xj

I'm happy you went back to the Jeep family. XJ, ZJ, TJ, doesn't matter as long as it had solid axles. Really ready to see how this thing comes along. good luck bro
|
It will be a slow start cause I'm paying for a wedding.
may just start with something like a 4.5 inch short arm and 35s with nice upper and lower arms with johnny joints. Then once tax season comes step up to long arms and coilovers up front. Definitely want to lock front and rear but gotta figure out what to do with this Dana 35 |

Illusion of the large incline of my driveway. Camber is fine. :thumbup1: |
Just found an 8.8 Locally, 31 spline, 4.10 LSD, discs, complete..nice clean ready to go..
100 bucks..and I dont have to get dirty pulling it. Going to do everything in my power to get it. |
Thats a good deal.
|
Looked up the axle number by the door.
Turns out its 3.73 lsd..but its still worth it to me. Good discs, no carrier break for the 8.8, nice LSD to start with, 100 bucks.. |
