I stick to the $3500-4200 range. At that price most cherokee's in my area sell fast and are usually stock. That gives me alot more interest in what I'm selling.
I enjoy the build but also the making the deal and hunting for the jeeps. I'm trying to build the jeeps to appeal to larger amount of people. Clean and simple. Most jeeps I see that are modified just look thrown together and or beat.
Not everyone has the ability or money to lift a jeep then buy rims and tires and end up buying cheap stuff. The jeeps I'm building are defiantly not the best of the best. They are nice daily drivers and good foundation for the next guy to personalize/enjoy.
I try to give myself a $2000 max on buying each jeep. That includes registering it. Alot of the good deals in that price range are usually way out in the middle of nowhere.

That's a great plan.
Most banks etc won't finance a car over 10 years old, so you have to keep the price reasonable for the cash buyers.
I see some guys put way too much on a Cherokee and mark it up to $10k and think that they are gold. They really price themselves out of the market.

Yeah I see that often. Also see low mileage 2wd cherokee's with dealers asking $10k+. Pretty much everything in my area is 200k+ miles. Any less than that people say 178k low miles haha. Ones that are clean are far and few between

Didn't want to hunt and wait for a white grill so I thought a chrome grill would look good against the white. I'm not a fan of black grills on the newer xjs

Well got the lift done and interior swapped from Camel to Grey. Looking pretty good now. Just need to figure out how I want to go about fixing the dented rocker. Don't really want to replace and paint all that. Other option is Rustys rocker covers but they raised the price from $99 to $149 + shipping. Then I could always build something similar or like they smitty built sliders.
