Default Bare Necessity

I've decided to strip it completly down to build from scratch. No wiring, Int, suspension, absolutly nothing but body.I paid $400 for the XJ for parts only needed T/C sold a few parts to get my money back. The more I removed the more I started thinking about doing a build from scratch.
I have no additional money in XJ, have recieved around $200 in sold parts.

Due to the fact it's going to be a true trail rig only. I will install a SB chevy, roll bars and a custom suspension. And if anyone needs int. parts just let me know. Or a wiring harness

Will finish stripping this weekend. will have pics of a bare boned XJ.
No gas tank, motor or trans, and all doors and glass removed. So if you ever wondered what a completly stripped down XJ looks like it's coming shortly.

So your going to swap in a chevy 350 with what tranny and t-case? Also how are you going to hook-up the auto? Going to get rid of the dash and only hook-up the wires needed to run the motor and lights?

Why not a 327?

You going to use a fuel cell?

Wish I had the time for a nice project like this.

NO 350 a 283 I know everyone uses 350's but for torq and rpm purpuses I prefer a 283. I built a 283 and it out ran, out pulled, and got better gas mileage than my managers brand new 350. and as far as wiring, just for motor a few lights and the winch thats it.
