Haha yeah I'm jealous of it too. It was painted and sealed when we bought it. Makes spills easy to clean.

Question for this heat. My 99 is running around 213-215 temp while running around with the A/C on. This is here in town traffic driving not wheeling. Can't get it to get back to 210 but it's not going over 220. Over last Christmas I redid the top end plus new water pump, thermostat, new hoses, belt, grand cherokee fan clutch and spaced the back of the hood about 1/2 inch in the rear. Just put new rear main seal in last weekend plus all new u-joints and hubs. Is this temp normal or what else can I check. I have had the jeep for 6 years and a couple years back it overheated so now I just might be **** about it.

Down here in Tucson at 109 yesterday, mine ran about 225 when I got out and did the infrared thermometer test on the thermostat housing. 1 foot away on the upper rad hose it read 197 & on the lower hose coming out of the rad it read 185. The hood read 235 in the sun. According to Duratherm; the boiling temp of 50/50 coolant is 265 degrees so you should be safe.

Anybody have wheeling trips planned? I'm itching to take my new to me cherokee offroad around Tucson. I'm only on 31s with 3" lift. What're some good trails to run?

There are quite a few trails around here. It just depends on how bad you want to beat up your ride. One of the ones I use a lot is the Reddington Pass road. When you are lone wolfing it Reddington does have other people on it. There is also the back side of Mt Lemmon that is well travelled.
