I did grand Cherokee discs on my jeep. Way better than drums. It was about $450 total because I purchased almost everything new. I only got the backing plates from the junk yard. I might have taken rear calipers too, but I don't remember.
I won the bid on Ebay 150.00 shipped , I will buy new rotors brakes rubber lines maybe calipers . The only thing I dont know about is the E brake cable ?? HUMMM what to do , what will fit 02 + kj is to long from what I hear
rotors 2 each new 33.50 shiped
E brake hard ware 13.00
pads 14.00
rubber brake line left 14.00
rubber brake line right 14.00
parking brake shoes 17.56
= 104.10 plus backing plate kit 150.00 = 254.10 and I will still need E brake cables

Half an inch roughly. Should be fine. I know it's not the inch thick stuff that a lot of bumpers have but the fram plates are 3/16 and these are apart of the same plate. Then I welded the c channel up against the plate an gusseted from the back then cut another piece of 3/16 that had the same shape as the shackle mount and butted it up against the c channel then welded it all up. But just like anything time will tell I guess haha

Finished up the bumper today an threw some paint on it. I'll get some pics tomorrow after its installed. Ordered some 2 gauge wire for the winch solenoid today but it won't be here till the end of the week sadly. Next up is my tube doors. Can't decide if I'm gonna put her in the big bad jeep show this month.

Anyone running anything local in the morning? Tired of running solo. Local as in Henderson boulder city area. If anyone is up for a Burro Wash run I'd totally be down
