Default Browns Camp

Hey guys looking at finally getting to do a little bit of wheeling this summer and i heard browns was a good place to go. I was wondering though how capable a stock cherokee would be there or maybe even if you guys knew of a place other than there to go and just have a lil 4x4 fun.

There are plenty of trails that you can take with a stock Cherokee, just steer clear of waterfall, firebreak 5, and the crushers. Most trails do have a way around the hardcore obstacles.

Chucknormous, you need to PM FiveNDime, his real name is Joey and he is in that same area. We're planning to meet for huge get together of XJs the around the last weekend in July at Brown's Camp.

Firebreak is ok in a stock XJ, just takes some fancy rock placement for that one section where the rock is in the middle of the trail. Or we can go down it or around it at that section. Otherwise, Cedar tree, powerline, 7-up, hogs back, and so on are some good trails to run in a stocker. We got a stock YJ up Saddle-up which is titled as a double black diamond. It took a bit of time but was fun. I would be glad to do some leading, but I have rules...haha. NO drinking, no littering, no crazy off trail excursions, as well as proper trail etiquette. Other then that I'm down for some fun wheeling.

Well, whenever you guys do it, Joey, I'll be there. There were 2 places I've always wanted to go wheeling. Evans Creek was one and Tillamook Forest is the other one. Brandon and the crew showed me Evans Creek now, I'll be going to Brown's Camp whenver you and your crew are gonna go.

I have dates posted in the TSF thread I started a while back for the original trip. Look at the August dates and let me know. I will camp out for you guys coming down for the fri, sat, and sunday stay. I was planning on arriving friday, and leave sunday. I may actually be going on a night wheeling trip this weekend, starting at 8pm and wheeling long into the night. Should be a blast.

The nights are rather short up here. A friend at work went to browns campo for the first time last weekend. He loved it.
