Default What heater core should I go with?

I recently pulled my old heater core becuase it basically fell apart. I got a replacement core from NAPA and it didnt fit at all. The bends were all off by at least half an inch. I'm now trying to figure out what brand has the best fit for a replacement. Right now im looking at the Crown brand. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One thing I try to always do if possible is to take the part to be replaced with me when I'm going to get a new one so I can match them up. That said NAPA is good stuff. If you want to try another brand Spectra Premium radiators are highly thought of. They make heater cores also.

Thinking about buying a used factory core from the junkyard. The other core I bought today didn't work either.

That looks identical to the 2 cores I've already tried.

Can you post a pic of it? How about part #'s from ones you bought?

I'll try to grab a pic of it tomorrow after work. I unfortunately don't have the part #'s for the 2 I already tried. The NAPA one was the correct one for my XJ though. I verified it with another one they had. The one from Advance was identical to that one. The bends were just off enough to not fit the heater box. I don't want it to make contact with the box.

Found the Omix on Amazon Prime for $59. I think I'll give this one a try. Fingers crossed on this one.

I ended up just buying a core from the dealership. They gave me a great price at $220 out the door. Yes, its expensive, but I'm not doing this job twice.
