Default Turn Signals

1999 cherokee xj, the turn signals work for about 5-10 flashes and then stop. Same for the Hazard 4way flashers. I checked all the bulbs and they are good. Any sugestions to fix appreciated.

Is this a mod to LED bulbs? Are you using an OEM flasher relay? Turn signal/hazards: 4 forward lamps, 2 front side marker and rear lamps? Does the 2 side markers alternate with the front 4 and rear 2?

If LED, polarity issue. I haven't found an answer for that. If a flasher, Autozone has the EP-27 for the Jeep.... Works with Led, except the hazards issue. Hazards freeze when the headlamps/park lights are on. Again polarity issue.

Explanation: the side maker runs on the alternating current. Either wire on the socket can be positive, based on the sender... Yeah, its weird! Still working on a correction.

Thanks Dre... I fixed it with the flasher relay from autozone. 18 bucks. About 1/2 the price as the local autoparts crook

Cool. I figured out my problem as well. Haven't fixed it, but I know the problem with the side makers LED.
