Had a good drain/filter/refill lately? Any codes showing? The wifes old GC needed to have the ECU flashed occasionally although it didnt always help. The TC would work for a while then not. Of course it had about 180k on it at the time with alot of towing miles. Good Luck and maybe some of the other guys can help you a bit better.

i just got it about a month ago and what i put there a few mins ago was a copy paste from my post ont he GC side of the site. i have some NEW info i for got to add. i talked to the previous owner today... he bought the jeep at 100k (it has 125 on it now) he got it in 2003. and he said that when he got it he recalls thinking it did the same thing but he never really noticed it casue he was 75 and only drove it in the winter months and no more than 50mph... SOOOO idk. on COLD days its harder than CRAP to shift though ill admit. when the engine warms up its flawless. but when its cold. dang from first gear to 2nd gear i have to drive it to 3200 rpm and the same to get from 2nd to 3rd. its like it doesnt want to shift. but like i said it has been like 55 here the past couple days and i start it it drives flawlessly but when it gets down 30 and below it drives like that for about 15 mins untill the engine and stuff warms up maybe that helps. THANKs
