Timing Question
I have a question about the timing on a jeep 4.0, just out of curiosity could the timing chain being far too loose cause irregular fire in the engine? When I pull the plugs and crank the engine it fires randomly. The firing order is correct this has already been verified, along with the usual firing suspects ( crank shaft position sensor, cam shaft position sensor, and ASD relay.) The engine cranks but will not start. Help please!!
