Default Stupid squeak!

So I just bought this jeep about a month ago. First one. I like it so far its a 91 Cherokee laredo, 4.0 HO. High miles (260). It runs great. Just it has this belt or pulley squeak that I can not figure out! I tried the idler, and just got done putting a new harmonic balance on it. Still squeaking, all the time and increases and the rpms do. So the next thing I can figure is the belt. The water pump was fairly PO replaced. I just can't figure it out....... wishing I would have started with the belt. It is tight. I tried the water trick and it stops squeaking. But also I replaced the HB because of rubber like shavings all around that area. I'm stumped. Anybody have any ideas or should I just try the belt? Any help would be great thanks. O also I put a adj. track bar on seems to pull now, guess I need alignment? I know the axle is centered so it all needs to be adjusted, but the the will the alignment take care of that? Thanks.

Kinda sounds like what the alternator can do when it shorts and kinda locks so the serpentine belt squeals over it. thats what mine did if i was running ac and using a ton of amps the alternator would short and lock. then my amp gauge would drop to red and i could floor it to about 3000 rps and it would squal like a mother and then release back to normal for a while. then I bought a powermaster 170 amp alternator to replace my stock 90 amp. if its not doing anything with your amps or anything then i dunno but to me it sounds like if its increasing with rpm's, then something is offering resistance that its squaling over
