Engine and trans from 94 into a 97?
I've decided to make my non-running '94 into a parts car. I'm wondering if the engine & trans can be dropped into my '97.
I'm thinking I'll pull them from the 94, rebuild them completely, and drop them in the 97.
Are there mechanical or electronic differences that would prevent this? I know the basics are the same, but sometimes little things become major obstacles.

Well I know the 94 is OBDI and the 97 is OBDII so you will need to use the computer, emissions and sensors for the 97. Other than that I'm not sure.

Yes, I know I'll need to use the newer sensors. I'm wondering if there are any show-stoppers.
