If it's the one in the pic, reverse rotation. Try Complete Offroad you can get a package deal front and rear with bearings for like $350.

what rigs have reverse or forward?

 

XJs till 2000 have reverse as do all YJs. ZJs and TJs as well as 00 and 01XJs. The TJ Rubicon uses a hibrid 44/30 with a lo pinion. 44 center section and 30 tubes and outers and isn't any stronger than a hi pinion 30. Just FYI.
