Default put gas tank back in =few questions

89 cherokee 4.0 added 8 gal gas won't fire. How long should it take to get gas to motor.
I may have drained line I ran it for a minute or so when tank was off a few times.
I've tried to start in about 4 times. 10 - 12 sec. each time. Thanks Ken

Did you get it? You should hear the pump run 2 seconds or so when you turn the key to ign. After doing that a few times it should be primed...

I accidentally got the supply and return lines on another project switched once. Took me much longer than I care to admit to realize what I did.

should have lines on right , they were different sizes. I heard the pump when I turned key on. First two times I tried starting it only had 3-4 gals in tank since then added another 5 gal. Play with it again in morning. Thanks Ken

Maybe Ken Pm'd you? In any case, you are aware if the test port on the fuel rail, has a deal like a tire valve, (Schrader valve). You can depress the deal with a key or whatever to see if there is fuel there.

Thanks I was wondering if there was someway to check it out.

I have my other truck a 04 gmc down with transfer case problems. Hole in side of it. 4 wheel drive not working at all. Do I dare drive it that way and not do any other damage? Thanks Ken or Hoot

That is what I'm using and it is taking metal off but not turning, trying to not

screw it up. It should free up. Every time I spray it I also try starting it hear the pump kick on. Hasn't fired yet. Will use small torch tomorrow.

This is what you are trying to remove, ... right?
Shouldn't require HE.

In case it's not clear, PLEASE DO NOT USE A TORCH ON THE FUEL RAIL. Not even a "small torch."
