Hey guys thought you may be able to help me out with my issues on my XJ.
I have a 97 4 door 4x4

the problems
Drivers side window started acting up last week, sometimes the window wont go down or up. Wouldnt work at all yesterday but worked twice today. Im just gunna leave it up for now before i get caught in the rain. I took off the door panel the switch is sending power in both directions so i would assume its a motor issue just want to check with yall befor i spend $100

Passenger door wont electrically lock or unlock
it will open if locked from the inside and i can manually move the lock switch and it will work. When i hit the lock or unlock switch it makes noise like it wants to move but it doesn't. All the rods are connected as far as i can tell.

Well I got it fixed the other day. I bought a junkyard window regulator and lock actuator. Installed and works perfectly.

Did the same yesterday. Cracked open the actuator to see what was wrong. The motor was operating properly, but it seems that the internal gears has slipped and was no longer engaging.

the strange thing was is that it was intermittent, most of the time it worked fine but had me worried on rain days lol.
