locktight on waterpump pully?

Default locktight on waterpump pully?
Just change my water pump ,{first time wasn,t to bad,} was wondering if I should put a little locktight on the pump pulley,is hard to get them tight as the pulley turns

no need to.

just use a pry bar to hold the pulley as you tighten each bolt.
