leaking from transfer case front output shaft
I see spots under my jeep and it looks like there's a leak from the forward output shafts on the transfer case that's throwing fluid all over, how hard is it to change this seal? I've changed axle pinion seals and they're not bad at all, is this seal like those?

The nut on the front output shaft has to come off, its put on with ~150 ft/lb of torque so it can be a pain to get off (and to reinstall) if you don't have an impact. Once its off, pull the yoke and the seal is right there.

Just to clarify I'm talking about the shafts that comes out of the transfer case with the front drives shafts that runs up to the axle. So it's basically the same as an axle yoke seal, you can pop it off from the outside once you remove the drive shaft
