When driving down the road turn the wheel hard to the right then left. If noise gets worse when you turn left but eases up when you turn right then its your wheel bearing on the right side. When you turn left it pulls the weight off the r wheel and when you turn right it puts weight on it . Which is why it sounds better at times.
