Default Full Width Axle Swap

Has anyone ever done a full width axle swap thread in the how toos section? I have a buddy trying to talk me out of 44 and just going right to the dana 60s. I don't know we'll see. Ill have to stare at pictures and writeups for awhile.

If you can swing the money go right to d60's. Sure you can build d44's to the strength of d60's that are stock. I say go for it.

Thats normally a better option. Right now I know where a 76 ford 1 ton is for 1200. It has d60 front and d60 rear with 4.56's. Motor needs work. IT has a 351 with c6 and np205. Those are the deals I look for. Every now and then I can find a FSJ waggy with the right d44's for a few hundred. Just take your time and look everywhere.

just make sure you get the right drop side...donor truck is good like the one listed above you can use the np205 and dana 6d's well worth 1200 in the offroad world. if you live in the nc area i know where a set of rebuilt dana 60s are with 5.30 gears, detroit lockers and full truss's for 1000 bux but it took me a year to find em thats why their in my back yard. ill let em go for a 1000

Do you still have them????

If you do i would love to get your email or just message me on here if you sell them. If you don't sell them in the next month or so i would love to buy them.
