98 JGC eating ecu's
Ok I am at a loss. I have checked EVERY wire and connector. Other then finding a connector under the radiator over flow bucket that is not connected to anything, all looks ok. After replacing the ECU the guages started working again (fuel/voltage) and the jeep started. It died after 1 second or so of running. Thinking the fuel rail might have had a bubble or the new ECU just needed a bit to learn, I restarted it. It died again, and started it a 3rd time. This time the gauges died and the new ECU acts just like the old one. What in the world could lead to this!? What sensor could have gone bad?
