CPS (on Bellhousing) Removal Tricks
I know I have beaten this to death but does anyone have any tricks for changing out the bellhousing CPS? I found it, Have a new one. But Removing it has been a bit of a challenge due to big forearms and hands.
Stubby Wrenches? Lots of light?
Any help would be greatly appreciated I am 20 Miles away from a garage and tow trucks don't like my driveway to take it to a garage. Mobile mechanics on craigslist balk at the idea.
Thanks in advance.

a wobbler or drop the crossmember and let the trany angle and you can get at the bolts with extensions. Just make sure you support the crossmember with a floor jack.

I picked up a 30" 3/8" drive extension just for this purpose - it turned out to be ten bucks well spent! Between that and the 11m/m 'flex' socket (shorty socket with inbuilt universal joint) and notching the CPS bracket, I've got CPS changes down to about four minutes total.
