Default Cherokee Newb ?

If you guys could change one mod you've done or haven't done what would it be??? For instance did you get that 5.5" lift but which you got the 6"? Tires too big? Just wondering because I'm going to start ordering parts this week and want all the info I can get. Here is a quick run down of the parts I'm planning on----
6" Full Traction Long Arm Suspension Kit (although also looking into the RE 5.5 one)
34x10.5 LTBs w/ Soft 8 Rims
Bushwacker Fender Flares
Warn Front/Rear Bumpers & Rock Sliders
ARB Safari Snorkel
Warn 9.5x Winch
So tell me the cons of the parts I've planned and why you which you would have changed what you did...

-warn front/rear bumpers are nice, little pricey for me
-34" tires is a bit of a strain on a Dana 30 front. may want to upgrade shafts or just carry spares if you are really getting on it in the rocks.
-warn 9.5 awesome choice
-nice choice with long arms, i dont know anything about full traction but hopefully others will chime in.

good luck, sounds like a good start.

You'll probably need a SYE. I also think d30's can hold up to 35's but it'll be tough. The max I'd go is 33's on that.

You will be fine up to 35's on your D30. I wheeled the hell out of mine with 31's, 33's, and 35's and never broke one single thing.

it really depends on what you wheel and how you wheel it, and if you are locked. 33's + is a lot of strain. Remember...they are only 27 spline, and the housing isnt particularly strong. Chromo shafts + a truss wouldnt be a bad idea. Then again, this moves the weak point to the ring gear...

Can you or anyone else throw some more opinions or ideas as to how to remedy this? I'm open to swapping out the axles or swapping out the shafts and planned to do so before it was all said and down. What axles are the majority of you guys sapping them with? I really appreciate all th ehelp guys..... I hate buying things twice.

i say look at your flare options a little closer. a lot of people dislike the bushwackers. i have never ran them so i dont know for sure that they suck but i have seen a lot of wrangler ones bite the dust against a tree when a stock one would have been fine.

rustys has some nice flares and you also have the option of mounting the stock tj flares on your cherokee. i did and i think it came out nice.

dana 44 front from a waggy is about the correct width. but it would need new brackets welded on.

im running 33's on a locked dana 30...stock shafts as well, but i have a full set of spares. im gonna run it like this til i break something, then ill swap in a 44. Currently have 29 spline 8.25 rear end, but ill soon have a ford 8.8 from an explorer in there. i also dont drive like a maniac...im a pretty conservative wheeler...
