You may want to check continuity of the ground(s) for the instrument cluster. There are two paths to ground, one at connector C1 and the other at connector C2. Both connector wires are ground at G108, which is buried under the left side of the dash. Unless someone has been fooling around with this ground (actually two studs with many circuits grounded there) the ground should be secure at G108. Below are the C1 and C2 pinouts. Use your meter + probe at the connector pin cavities and your meter - probe at a bare metal spot on the dash. You should see continuity at both pin cavities.

Do you have a part number for the TSB kit?

Mopar America is a pretty good source for Jeep parts (if they exist).

When you tried your cluster in another Jeep and it worked, did you try that Jeep's cluster in your Jeep?

Have you checked the continuity of the C1/C2 grounds like I mentioned?

Are you saying you did the continuity checks and they are no good?

If the continuity checks are good forget getting at G108. It's buried way up under the dash on the far left side.

I dont have an multimeter that will check continuity but im im almost 100 that the ground is good but i was told that a short or connector bad anywhere could cause the ccd bus issue? If that is true would that include the door panels? I do have a short in the window and side mirror buttons they tend to go on and off every few mintues (as in when they decide to work)
