Brake line size

Brake line size
1998 Cherokee all the brake lines are shot and im putting in my 4.5' lift so i might as well get two birds stoned at once, so what size of brake line do i need

.... the correct size..... i'd just run factory, no sense in running over sized brake lines for a system that works fine to begin with

any parts store should have it, just tell them you need the factory size/ or standard... i cant remember the size exactly but i think its 3/16ths.....

lmao hahaah yea i've come across a few of those guys... they can look the parts up but when it comes to actually knowing what your looking for besides a part number to ring up on the register.. completely lost

3/16 for sure. im doing the exact same thing at the moment. i may be jacking the thread, but anyone know if the rear flex line is a standard or metric style of flare? Im wondering because i went a picked up a 99 Dakota rear flex line because its longer, and its all metric flare style.

already got all that stuff seeing as im a apprentice at the local chrysler dealer but i totaly forgot to ask about the brake lines until I remembered this morning.

just an update to this thread for other people, so i just fiixed my issue replaced the complete hard line, you'll need a 3/16 x 72 standard and a 3/16 x 32 standard and a 3/16 coupling and a 3/16 to 1/2 fitting, totals up to about $18.00 thats everything you'll need....
