Hello all once again,
Just another update..
Well the rear is just about done, I could not finish today cause I could not get new bolts and nuts for the leaf springs, I refuse to put these old pieces of crap nuts and bolts back in as they are not in good shape, I will order new ones from the dealer on Monday should have them tuesday or wens.. will finish the rear then.. All is in tho... Front I should have done in a couple hours , No big deal...
The bolt that I was concerned about on the leaf spring that broke came out so I did not have to cut the frame ( thank god), Once I cut the spring off there was enough bolt left there that I could grab it with vise grips, Did not come out e-z tho, Had to heat it up with a torch but I finally got it out.. YIPPEEE!!!...
This job was a major pain in the *****, Don't think I will have to do this again for a while.. Both rear shocks were completely shot, Can't wait to drive it with new suspension, Should drive real nice now...
Well I will let you guys know once I finish and all is good...
Thanks for all your help!!!
Ant...
Heres a few pics...
This is the little bastard that I was worried about, But I got his ***,
shows where bolt was HEHE...YA BABY... Im so glad that came out!!!!
Heres new spring and shock for the left side, Right side is in already.
Heres old spring that I cut out, Pain in the ***
Heres after all in the rear is in place, Not tightened down yet cause I need new bolts..

WOW,
I just got back from the dealer ( HollyWood Chrysler Jeep) went to order the leaf spring bolts, and I feel like they bent me over and hammered me ***, It cost me $43.78 for the four ( 4 ) leaf spring bolts and two (2) Nuts...
Thats why I only go to the dealer when I realy have too...

Gents, it's frequently slightly cheaper to go get a whole box of the things from Fastenal or wherever. If you can order a small one of 10 that is.
