94 Cherokee Code 22 Coolant Sensor
Already replaced Coolant Temp Sensor, and verified Ohms reading sensor is good. I am also receiving the 5 volts from the PCM
Engine runs, but still have CEL with code 22
Looking for suggestions

you can see if the computer is getting any data by hooking up a scanner that is compatible with the old MOPAR OBDI diagnostics
might be a dirty connector at the PCM, but I would check to see if the computer is getting any data first

Where would the OBD I scanner connector be, and what does it look like

Yes, just came in from, checking continuity from sensor connector and PCM connector 2 and 4, tests good.
Also I have another PCM that I switched out and same problem.
I am pretty much stumped.
Jeep starts up, but still have code 22 after resetting battery.
Jeep runs good, but wont idle down for about 3 seconds, obvious because of the ECS.
still looking for suggestions

Just for the sake of it, got another Coolant temp sensor, all is fine, just goes to show you, just because its new, does not mean it works.
thanks for all the suggestions

Thanks that's what I thought.
For sensors the way to go is OEM.
I had a problem until I got the mopar brand.

I did a continuity check on the AZ duralast sensor, and there are 2 pin on the sensor and one of them had continuity to the outside housing of the sensor.
When I got the new sensor, there was no continuity on either pin to the housing sensor.
The Autozone sensor did check out on the right ohm for temp reading, and that is what was confusing the hell out of me, It basically forced me to check the wiring to the PCM along with cleaning the PCM connector.
But all is well, at least shes running good now.
